Yam Bake

1/3 c. packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. margarine
1/3 c. pecan pieces
1 (16 oz.) can pears (drained)
1-1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 (17 oz.) cans yams, drained

Combine sugar, flour, nutmeg and cinnamon; cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; add nuts. Arrange yams and pears (peaches) in a 1 1/2 or 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with sugar mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows and broil until lightly brown. 6 servings.
