SOUR CREAM PEAR BREAD

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 tbsp. pear juice
4 to 5 canned pear halves, chopped
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream

FILLING:
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add pear juice and chopped pear halves. Mix dry ingredients and add alternately with sour cream. Pour not quite half the batter into a greased loaf pan. Generously heap the nut mixture into the center of the batter. Pour remaining batter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Let cool partway in pan.
