Simple and Easy Bean Recipes
 Red bean, navy bean, pinto bean, green bean, black bean, lima bean, white bean recipes that have been collected from box tops, cans, newspapers, magazines and friends over the years.

 

German Green Bean Salad

2 (1 lb.) cans green beans, drained
1 c. liquid from beans
3 slices bacon, fried and crumbled, save drippings

Add these ingredients to bacon drippings: 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. bacon drippings 1 lg. onion, sliced 1/4 c. bean liquid Mix together: 1/4 c. bean liquid Add to above mixture. Cook until thick and clear. Add beans and heat through. Put into serving dish and sprinkle bacon on top
